Thimbles are the industry standard as far as wire rope terminations is concerned. Thimbles secure the ends of wire ropes (and are also called rope termination) to prevent fraying. Once a thimble is fitted it becomes a convenient point of connection. Thimbles range from 6mm to 88mm dia of wire rope.
